Radio stations in Swedish
Press play on any station below and it starts in this tab. 68 stations broadcast in Swedish and are reachable from a browser. They come from four named countries and 3 more the breakdown below does not reach.
Swedish radio is anchored almost entirely in Sweden, which carries about 90% of the 68 stations on this shelf. The rest are scattered thinly through Finland, Åland Islands and Germany, and those scattered entries are the reason a language shelf is worth having: a country hub would never put them next to each other.
The four countries below cover all but three of this shelf. Those three broadcast from elsewhere and fall outside the snapshot's country breakdown, which is capped.
The median Swedish stream runs at 128 kbps and 71% of the shelf reaches 128 kbps or better. Because this shelf pools several countries, that median is a fair summary rather than one national market's habit.
The formats on this shelf are genuinely mixed, with MP3 the commonest at only 52%. That is what pooling several countries does to a codec breakdown, and it is a useful reminder that the shelf is not one market.
