Solar Radio

Solar Radio is deep in Afghanistan's listing, at 14 of 14. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

With one recorded open, Solar Radio sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Afghanistan's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

The language field is empty for this entry. It is left empty here too rather than filled from the country, because the shelves on this site are only worth using if what is on them was actually declared.

Classical is one of Afghanistan's headline genres in this directory, and Solar Radio is one of 6 stations there leading with it. The country hub prints the same tag near the top of its own list, so this station sits inside the country's main sound rather than off to one side.

Its audio comes straight from msmn2.co, an address unique to this entry in Afghanistan's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
