98.5 CKWR Real Community Radio

98.5 CKWR Real Community Radio is at 145 in a listing of 259. Read the rank as a rough position rather than a standing: the click counts in the middle of a long national list are close enough together that a handful of opens moves a station several places.

The open count against 98.5 CKWR Real Community Radio is one, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

Among 259 stations in Canada here, this is the only one that puts community first. The community rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

AAC+ here, on a dial that carries three different formats. A mixed codec listing usually means a country whose stations are hosted in several different places rather than through one dominant provider.

The stream is served from stream2.statsradio.com:8150, which no other entry in Canada uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.
