CHOI 98,1 Radio X

CHOI 98,1 Radio X is deep in Canada's listing, at 163 of 259. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

The open count against CHOI 98,1 Radio X is one, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

The directory records no language for CHOI 98,1 Radio X. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

At 48 kbps this is one of the lowest rate streams on Canada's dial, whose median is 96 kbps. It will hold a connection almost anywhere, which is the tradeoff being made.

CHOI 98,1 Radio X streams from lb0-stream.radiox981.ca. No other station in Canada is served from that address, and across the whole directory it appears one time in total.
