DKFM Shoegaze Radio

Out of 259 entries in Canada, this one ranks 40. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

The directory records no language for DKFM Shoegaze Radio. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

DKFM Shoegaze Radio streams at 128 kbps, above Canada's median of 96 kbps. It sits with the 46% of the country's stations that reach 128 kbps or better, which is the line this site uses for a stream worth listening to properly rather than in the background.

The stream is served from kathy.torontocast.com:2005, which no other entry in Canada uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.

DKFM Shoegaze Radio publishes at decayfm.com, on a generic domain. Most stations do; it carries no information about location and it is linked here so you can check the source rather than take this page's word for anything.
