Out of 99 entries in Chile, this one ranks 13. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

Radio Marisol is the only station in Chile whose first tag is 80's, out of 99 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in Chile does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only 80's station.

The gap here is large: 64 kbps where Chile's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.
