Radio Prague International

Radio Prague International is deep in Czechia's listing, at 56 of 74. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

Radio Prague International broadcasts in English from Czechia, one of 11 stations there that do. The country's dial is mostly Czech, so these 11 entries are a minority language cluster inside a national listing rather than the listing itself.

The English shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's English entries are concentrated in United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.

Among 74 stations in Czechia here, this is the only one that puts local news first. The local news rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

14 of Czechia's entries are served from rozhlas.stream, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.
