AURA FM 99.3

AURA FM 99.3 sits in the tail of El Salvador's 25 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

No opens have been recorded against AURA FM 99.3 in the public directory. Plenty of working stations sit at zero, because the count only rises when somebody plays the stream from a client that reports back, and most listening never touches the directory at all.

English from El Salvador, one of only three such entries the directory holds for the country. The national listing leads with Spanish, which is what makes this worth pointing at.

Where else English is on air, according to the same snapshot: mostly United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. The shelf lists all 5,984 of them together, which is the view a country hub cannot give.

AURA FM 99.3 is the only station in El Salvador whose first tag is 99.3 fm, out of 25 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in El Salvador does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only 99.3 fm station.
