Raadio Relax International

Raadio Relax International ranks 6 among 34 stations in Estonia. High enough that the country hub carries it in its own tables, and far enough from the head that the neighbours below are a genuinely different set of stations from the famous ones.

The directory records no language for Raadio Relax International. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

The gap here is large: 96 kbps where Estonia's stations typically run 256. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

Encoded as AAC, one of the three formats Estonia's stations use. The country page breaks all of them out with counts.

Its audio comes from stream.relaxfm.ee. Two other stations in Estonia stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.
