Radio Moreeni

Radio Moreeni sits in the tail of Finland's 70 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

With two recorded opens, Radio Moreeni sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Finland's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

Radio Moreeni has no language recorded in the directory. We do not infer one. Guessing from the country would put every station in Finland on the same shelf regardless of what it broadcasts, which is exactly the kind of filled-in blank that makes a directory untrustworthy.

The directory carries no bitrate for Radio Moreeni. The field is filled from what the stream's own server reports when it is scanned, so an empty one usually means a server that answers without announcing itself rather than a bad stream. Finland's stations that do report come in at a median of 128 kbps, for whatever that is worth as a guess.

Radio Moreeni streams from moreenistream.tuni.fi. No other station in Finland is served from that address, and across the whole directory it appears one time in total.
