IA Music & News - Español

This is one of the quieter entries in France's listing, at 457 of 710. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

This is a Spanish station in a country whose directory presence is led by French. Eight entries in France broadcast in Spanish, which is a small group and a coherent one, and browsing it is a different experience from browsing the country.

The Spanish shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's Spanish entries are concentrated in Mexico, Argentina and Spain. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.

Its audio comes straight from ianewses.ice.infomaniak.ch, an address unique to this entry in France's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.

The station's site is at iaradio.eu, which sits under the .eu country domain rather than France's. That mismatch is usually mundane, a host or a parent organisation registered elsewhere, and it is the kind of small inconsistency worth seeing rather than smoothing over.
