Radio Kerne

Rank 666 of 710 in France. What that mostly measures is how many people have already found the station through this directory, which is a poor proxy for anything else and an honest one to publish.

The directory records no opens at all for Radio Kerne. That is a fact about the directory rather than about the station: a stream nobody has opened through radio-browser can be perfectly healthy and well listened to on its own site or on a radio. It does mean this page is where the station's directory history starts.

The language field is empty for this entry. It is left empty here too rather than filled from the country, because the shelves on this site are only worth using if what is on them was actually declared.

At 256 kbps, Radio Kerne streams at more than double France's median of 128 kbps. That is a deliberate choice by whoever runs it: bandwidth is the recurring cost of an internet station, and a rate this far above the local norm is money spent on sounding better than the dial around it.

The stream is served from stream.radios.bzh, an address four other entries in France use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
