Bayern 3

The directory lists two streams in Germany under this name, told apart by a number alone. This page is number three. Nothing here is taken from the other one.

Bayern 3 ranks 4 among 1,409 stations in Germany. High enough that the country hub carries it in its own tables, and far enough from the head that the neighbours below are a genuinely different set of stations from the famous ones.

Bayern 3 carries 189 recorded opens in the public directory, which puts it among the small group of streams that directory clients open constantly. Counts at this level are rare: the great majority of the 14,425 stations with pages here are in single or double figures.

The country page counts pop among its commonest tags, and this station is one of the 39 entries in Germany behind that count. Worldwide the tag leads 343 stations, which makes the rail below a very wide shelf.

Worldwide it ranks 2 among 343 pop entries, which is worth roughly as much as the count behind it and no more.

28 of Germany's entries are served from dispatcher.rndfnk.com, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.
