This is one of the quieter entries in Greece's listing, at 228 of 320. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.
The open count against Όμορφη Πόλη 89.9 is one, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.
The country page counts greek music among its commonest tags, and this station is one of the 20 entries in Greece behind that count. Worldwide the tag leads 21 stations, which makes the rail below a very wide shelf.
The stream is encoded at 256 kbps, more than twice the 128 kbps median for Greece. Bitrate is the one quality figure the public directory carries, and on this entry it is unambiguous.
The stream is served from radio.streamings.gr, an address one other entry in Greece uses as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.

Όμορφη Πόλη 89.9 is one of 1,015 playable stations the catalogue lists in Greece, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by Όμορφη Πόλη 89.9. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at www.radio899.gr.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
