RRI Pro 3 KBRN

Out of 212 entries in Indonesia, this one ranks 50. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

With four recorded opens, RRI Pro 3 KBRN sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Indonesia's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

At 128 kbps the stream is on the better side of Indonesia's dial, where the median is 96 kbps. Not dramatically so, and bitrate is only one of several things that decide whether a stream sounds good, but it is the one the directory records.

Encoded as AAC+, one of the four formats Indonesia's stations use. The country page breaks all of them out with counts.

Its audio comes from stream-node0.rri.co.id. Six other stations in Indonesia stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

RRI Pro 3 KBRN keeps its own site at rri.co.id. The address sits under Indonesia's country code, which lines up with where the directory says the station broadcasts from.
