Radio Qualita

Radio Qualita sits in the tail of Israel's 68 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

The directory records no opens at all for Radio Qualita. That is a fact about the directory rather than about the station: a stream nobody has opened through radio-browser can be perfectly healthy and well listened to on its own site or on a radio. It does mean this page is where the station's directory history starts.

Radio Qualita broadcasts in French from Israel, where the directory records only two stations doing so. Israel's listing is otherwise led by Hebrew, so this is a genuinely unusual entry on its own national dial rather than one of a set.

Where else French is on air, according to the same snapshot: mostly France, Canada and Belgium. The shelf lists all 1,384 of them together, which is the view a country hub cannot give.

The stream is served from radioking.com, which no other entry in Israel uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.
