Japan has 134 entries in the public directory and 68 that a browser can open. The 66 in between are worth understanding rather than ignoring: they are largely live stations whose stream addresses were registered over http and never migrated, so they play in a desktop radio client and not in a tab.
Bitrate here clusters around 128 kbps, with 65% of stations at or above the 128 kbps line this site uses as the mark of a stream worth listening to rather than having on.
Japan has no clear head in the open counts. Ordering the table by them is still better than ordering it alphabetically, and it is not much better, so the numbered pages behind this one are as worth visiting as this one is.
