Near the top of Kazakhstan's list, at 3 of 24. Positions this high tend to be stable between snapshots, which is more than can be said for the middle of a long national listing.

Kazakh is the station's language and the country's commonest, one of five Kazakhstan's listing records.

Only two entries in Kazakhstan put etnic first. The tag is self-declared and inconsistent between countries, which is why the rail below is worth more as a way of wandering than as a filter.

At 64 kbps this is one of the lowest rate streams on Kazakhstan's dial, whose median is 128 kbps. It will hold a connection almost anywhere, which is the tradeoff being made.

Its audio comes from radio-streams.kaztrk.kz. One other station in Kazakhstan streams from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

The station's own site is qazradio.fm. The .fm domain has nothing to do with FM radio or with where a station is: it belongs to the Federated States of Micronesia and has been sold to broadcasters worldwide for years, so read it as branding rather than as a location.
