Relax

Position 4 of 28 in Latvia. The ordering is a click count and nothing more, but at this depth it still separates stations meaningfully, which stops being true further down the same list.

The language field is empty for this entry. It is left empty here too rather than filled from the country, because the shelves on this site are only worth using if what is on them was actually declared.

Relax streams at 96 kbps, under Latvia's median of 128 kbps. A lower rate is not automatically worse: speech carries perfectly well below the music threshold, and a station built for phones on a weak connection has a good reason to encode this way.

The stream is served from live.relaxfm.lv, an address four other entries in Latvia use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.

Relax keeps its own site at live.relaxfm.lv. The address sits under Latvia's country code, which lines up with where the directory says the station broadcasts from.
