M-1 Dance

Among the 38 stations in Lithuania with pages, M-1 Dance is around the halfway mark. Anything in this stretch is reachable from the country's numbered pages rather than from its front table, which is why those pages exist.

The open count against M-1 Dance is three, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

256 kbps, which puts M-1 Dance above the 160 kbps that a typical entry in Lithuania runs at.

The format here is AAC, against a listing for Lithuania overwhelmingly made of MP3. Both play in a browser; the difference shows up in how much quality survives at a given bitrate, where AAC has the advantage at lower rates.

Its audio comes from radio.m-1.fm. Two other stations in Lithuania stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

Their address is radio.m-1.fm. A .fm address says the broadcaster wanted a radio sounding domain, not that the station is in Micronesia, which is where that domain actually comes from.
