Press play and it starts here if your browser can open the stream. This one is served in a shape a plain browser tab struggles with, which the page explains rather than leaving you guessing.

The directory states no bitrate for this stream, so there is nothing to draw here. The field is filled from what a stream's own server announces when it is scanned, and plenty of servers announce nothing.
Among the 14 stations in Mauritius with pages, MBC Kool FM is around the halfway mark. Anything in this stretch is reachable from the country's numbered pages rather than from its front table, which is why those pages exist.
MBC Kool FM shares its leading tag, dance, with one other Mauritius entry. Across every country the directory has 270 stations leading with it, so the rail below is mostly a trip abroad.
No bitrate is recorded against this stream. It is a common gap: the value is scraped from the stream's headers and plenty of servers do not send them. Press play and your browser will tell you more in two seconds than the field would have.
The stream is served as an HLS playlist, which is the format broadcasters use to switch bitrates on the fly and the one a plain browser audio element will not open. Nothing is wrong with the station; the player on this page simply cannot follow that kind of link without a library. The extension carries one and handles it.
Its audio comes from radio.mbconline.xyz. Three other stations in Mauritius stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by MBC Kool FM. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at mbcradio.tv.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.

Where a browser tab gives up on a stream, the extension usually does not. 20,000+ stations, in the toolbar, still playing when you change page.
