In Mexico's ordering this is number 218 of 444, which is the middle of the list. The stations either side of it are a better guide to what the country sounds like than the head of the list is, because the head is the same few famous streams in every country.
With one recorded open, AMOR 93.1 (GDL) sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Mexico's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.
AMOR 93.1 (GDL) streams at 48 kbps against Mexico's median of 128, which is less than half the local norm. On a dial where 49% of stations reach 128 kbps, a rate this low stands out, and it usually means either a speech station that never needed more or an encoder that has not been touched in years.
The audio comes from playerservices.streamtheworld.com, and 103 other stations in Mexico are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of Mexico's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.

AMOR 93.1 (GDL) is one of 1,290 playable stations the catalogue lists in Mexico, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by AMOR 93.1 (GDL). Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at amorfm.mx.
Listed in the directory as AMOR 93.1 (GDL) - 93.1 FM - XHPI-FM - Grupo ACIR - Guadalajara, Jalisco. The heading above is that entry with the web address, the trailing keyword list and the block capitals taken out of it, which is a change to the spelling and to nothing else.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
