EXA FM 99.7 (Colima)

This is one of the quieter entries in Mexico's listing, at 357 of 444. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

The directory records no opens at all for EXA FM 99.7 (Colima). That is a fact about the directory rather than about the station: a stream nobody has opened through radio-browser can be perfectly healthy and well listened to on its own site or on a radio. It does mean this page is where the station's directory history starts.

EXA FM 99.7 (Colima) shares its leading tag, 99.7 fm, with two other Mexico entries. Across every country the directory has 3 stations leading with it, so the rail below is mostly a trip abroad.

The gap here is large: 64 kbps where Mexico's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

104 of Mexico's entries are served from playerservices.streamtheworld.com, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.
