Tarab Radio

Out of 45 entries in Morocco, this one ranks 12. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

Tarab Radio broadcasts in Arabic, which is the language most of Morocco's stations in the directory use. The country's listing records four languages in total, so the Arabic stations are the body of the dial rather than the whole of it.

Tarab Radio is the only station in Morocco whose first tag is oldies, out of 45 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in Morocco does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only oldies station.

On the same tag worldwide it is 9 of 75, which is inside the top quarter of every oldies station the directory carries.

13 of Morocco's entries are served from stream.zeno.fm, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.
