Veronica Goud van oud

Veronica Goud van oud sits at 172 of 302 in the Netherlands' listing, in the body of the list rather than at either end. This is where most of a national dial actually lives, and it is the part a country hub's first fifty rows never reach.

With three recorded opens, Veronica Goud van oud sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in the Netherlands' list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

The gap here is large: 96 kbps where the Netherlands' stations typically run 192. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

Veronica Goud van oud streams in AAC+ while most of the Netherlands' dial is MP3. Codec choice is mostly invisible to a listener, and it is one of the clearest fingerprints of which hosting provider a station uses, since providers default their customers into a format and few customers ever change it.

The stream is served from 21633.live.streamtheworld.com, an address one other entry in the Netherlands uses as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
