Abante Radyo

Out of 116 entries in the Philippines, this one ranks 18. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

The language field is empty for this entry. It is left empty here too rather than filled from the country, because the shelves on this site are only worth using if what is on them was actually declared.

At 128 kbps the stream is on the better side of the Philippines' dial, where the median is 96 kbps. Not dramatically so, and bitrate is only one of several things that decide whether a stream sounds good, but it is the one the directory records.

Its audio comes from stream.radio.co. Three other stations in the Philippines stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

The broadcaster publishes at abante.com.ph, on the Philippines' own country domain. A national domain is a small piece of evidence that the station is what the directory says it is, since these are the harder ones to register from somewhere else.
