Spot Radio

This is one of the quieter entries in Puerto Rico's listing, at 23 of 24. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

No opens have been recorded against Spot Radio in the public directory. Plenty of working stations sit at zero, because the count only rises when somebody plays the stream from a client that reports back, and most listening never touches the directory at all.

Language and country do not match up the obvious way here. Spot Radio transmits from Puerto Rico, where Spanish leads the listing, and broadcasts in English, which four of the country's stations use.

The station's own site is c9.radioboss.fm. The .fm domain has nothing to do with FM radio or with where a station is: it belongs to the Federated States of Micronesia and has been sold to broadcasters worldwide for years, so read it as branding rather than as a location.
