Радио РБЖ

Радио РБЖ says radio in Cyrillic. A name that describes its own programming is worth reading rather than skipping, because it is a fact stated by the broadcaster rather than a tag added by whoever filed the entry into Russia's listing.

At position 311 of 471, this is one of the stations in Russia that almost nobody arrives at by browsing. That is the case for having a page at all. A station reachable only by knowing its name is a station most directories lose.

Радио РБЖ is the only station in Russia whose first tag is archive, out of 471 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in Russia does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only archive station.

No bitrate is recorded against this stream. It is a common gap: the value is scraped from the stream's headers and plenty of servers do not send them. Press play and your browser will tell you more in two seconds than the field would have.

Its audio comes straight from rbj.recomedy.ru, an address unique to this entry in Russia's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
