Говорит Москва

The name begins with a place. Moscow is what it names, which is the part a listener in Russia would use to pick this entry out of a list of neighbours with otherwise similar names. The heading keeps the broadcaster's own spelling, in Cyrillic.

In Russia's ordering this is number 141 of 471, which is the middle of the list. The stations either side of it are a better guide to what the country sounds like than the head of the list is, because the head is the same few famous streams in every country.

News covers 13 of Russia's entries. Tags on this site are always the broadcaster's own first tag and never a second one, because a station tagged five ways would otherwise appear on five shelves and turn each of them into a tag cloud.

No bitrate is recorded against this stream. It is a common gap: the value is scraped from the stream's headers and plenty of servers do not send them. Press play and your browser will tell you more in two seconds than the field would have.

The stream is served from media.govoritmoskva.ru, an address one other entry in Russia uses as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
