Saudia Radio 87.7 FM

Saudia Radio 87.7 FM is deep in Saudi Arabia's listing, at 44 of 51. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

This is a English station in a country whose directory presence is led by Arabic. 13 entries in Saudi Arabia broadcast in English, which is a small group and a coherent one, and browsing it is a different experience from browsing the country.

The English shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's English entries are concentrated in United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.

The world middle east corner of Saudi Arabia's dial is three stations deep in this snapshot. Small clusters like that are usually the most rewarding thing on a country page, because they are what the national broadcasters at the top of the list are not.

Its audio comes from stream-154.zeno.fm. One other station in Saudi Arabia streams from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.
