Radio AI

Radio AI sits in the tail of Senegal's 28 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

With one recorded open, Radio AI sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Senegal's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

No language is recorded against this station. The field is optional in the public directory and a great many entries skip it, so an empty language says nothing about what you will hear when you press play. It does keep the station off the language shelves, since a shelf built on guesses would be worse than a shelf with holes.

Radio AI streams at 128 kbps, which is exactly where Senegal's dial sits: the country's median is 128 kbps. Being unremarkable on this axis is the normal case and it is fine. 89% of the country's stations reach 128 kbps or better.

Radio AI streams from a13.asurahosting.com. No other station in Senegal is served from that address, and across the whole directory it appears three times in total.
