Radio S3

Radio S3 is one of two entries in Serbia whose names are the same but for a number, and this one's number is three. A broadcaster numbering its streams like that is separating feeds, not stations, so read the number as the part that matters.

Rank 118 of 128 in Serbia. What that mostly measures is how many people have already found the station through this directory, which is a poor proxy for anything else and an honest one to publish.

Radio S3 has a zero in the directory's open count. It is the least interesting number on this page and the one most likely to be misread, so it is worth being plain: it measures traffic through radio-browser, not audience.

The gap here is large: 43 kbps where Serbia's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

The stream is served as an HLS playlist, which is the format broadcasters use to switch bitrates on the fly and the one a plain browser audio element will not open.
