Offshore Radio

In the Seychelles' ordering, Offshore Radio is at position 2 of 3. The stations above and below it are the ones the country hub prints first, so this page and that one describe nearly the same handful of streams from two directions.

The Seychelles' entries all carry very low open counts, the highest of them in single figures. That means the country's ordering on this site is close to arbitrary, and it is better to browse it than to trust it. The counts come from the public directory and we publish them as they are rather than dressing them up.

Offshore Radio broadcasts in English, which is the language most of the Seychelles' stations in the directory use. The country's listing records three languages in total, so the English stations are the body of the dial rather than the whole of it.

Classic rock is the station's own leading tag and no other entry in the Seychelles uses it that way. Worth reading as self-description: the directory takes tags as broadcasters type them and does not reconcile them.

Its audio comes straight from live.offshoreradio.net, an address unique to this entry in the Seychelles' listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
