RAC1

The directory lists three streams in Spain under this name, told apart by a number alone. This page is number one. Nothing here is taken from the other two.

Held against the 487 stations in Spain on this site, this one is in the leading three. The order is the directory's count of stream opens rather than anybody's judgement, which is worth saying because a leading position on a list like this reflects habit as much as anything else.

RAC1 carries 152 recorded opens in the public directory, which puts it among the small group of streams that directory clients open constantly. Counts at this level are rare: the great majority of the 14,425 stations with pages here are in single or double figures.

The country's dial has two sizeable languages on it and this station is on the smaller one. 66 entries in Spain broadcast in Catalan, against a listing whose commonest language is Spanish.

The Catalan shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's Catalan entries are concentrated in Andorra. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.
