Hype FM 89.9 is one of the three most opened stations in St. Lucia in this directory. That is a small enough club that the country hub lists all of them above the fold, and a large enough country that the position means something.
Three recorded opens in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.
No language is recorded against this station. The field is optional in the public directory and a great many entries skip it, so an empty language says nothing about what you will hear when you press play. It does keep the station off the language shelves, since a shelf built on guesses would be worse than a shelf with holes.
At 192 kbps this is a typical stream for St. Lucia by the one measure the directory carries.
Hype FM 89.9 streams from fwd.autopo.st. No other station in St. Lucia is served from that address, and across the whole directory it appears six times in total.
The broadcaster's own site is hypefm899.com. A .com address says nothing about where a station is, which is why the country on this page comes from the directory's own country field rather than from the domain.

Hype FM 89.9 is one of 7 playable stations the catalogue lists in St. Lucia, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by Hype FM 89.9. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at www.hypefm899.com.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
