Guldkanalen (90-tal)

The directory lists two streams in Sweden under this name, told apart by a number alone. This page is number ninety. Nothing here is taken from the other one.

Position 25 of 94 puts this station in the middle of Sweden's directory presence. The middle is worth browsing precisely because the ordering has stopped sorting by fame and has not yet stopped sorting at all.

The open count against Guldkanalen (90-tal) is four, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

Guldkanalen (90-tal) has no language recorded in the directory. We do not infer one. Guessing from the country would put every station in Sweden on the same shelf regardless of what it broadcasts, which is exactly the kind of filled-in blank that makes a directory untrustworthy.

Where Sweden's stations mostly use MP3, this one uses AAC+. Worth a line only because it is a difference, and because the country page's format breakdown is one of the quicker ways to see which providers a national dial runs on.

The stream is served from stream.dbmedia.se, an address two other entries in Sweden use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
