วพท. am 792KHZ กรุงเทพฯ

The name is not all brand. กรุงเทพ is Bangkok, which says something about the programming that the entry's tags may not.

Rank 52 of 59 in Thailand. What that mostly measures is how many people have already found the station through this directory, which is a poor proxy for anything else and an honest one to publish.

One recorded open in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.

The language field is empty for this entry. It is left empty here too rather than filled from the country, because the shelves on this site are only worth using if what is on them was actually declared.

วพท. am 792KHZ กรุงเทพฯ streams at 96 kbps, under Thailand's median of 128 kbps. A lower rate is not automatically worse: speech carries perfectly well below the music threshold, and a station built for phones on a weak connection has a good reason to encode this way.

Its audio comes from radio9.plathong.net. One other station in Thailand streams from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.
