Твоє радіо

This is one of the quieter entries in Ukraine's listing, at 104 of 125. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

With one recorded open, Твоє радіо sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Ukraine's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

80 kbit/s is the station's own leading tag and no other entry in Ukraine uses it that way. Worth reading as self-description: the directory takes tags as broadcasters type them and does not reconcile them.

At 80 kbps this is one of the lowest rate streams on Ukraine's dial, whose median is 192 kbps. It will hold a connection almost anywhere, which is the tradeoff being made.

Твоє радіо streams in AAC+ while most of Ukraine's dial is MP3. Codec choice is mostly invisible to a listener, and it is one of the clearest fingerprints of which hosting provider a station uses, since providers default their customers into a format and few customers ever change it.

The stream is served from complex.in.ua, an address five other entries in Ukraine use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
