Tim FM Chernihiv

At position 109 of 125, this is one of the stations in Ukraine that almost nobody arrives at by browsing. That is the case for having a page at all. A station reachable only by knowing its name is a station most directories lose.

No opens have been recorded against Tim FM Chernihiv in the public directory. Plenty of working stations sit at zero, because the count only rises when somebody plays the stream from a client that reports back, and most listening never touches the directory at all.

Among 125 stations in Ukraine here, this is the only one that puts alarm first. The alarm rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

At 320 kbps the stream is on the better side of Ukraine's dial, where the median is 192 kbps. Not dramatically so, and bitrate is only one of several things that decide whether a stream sounds good, but it is the one the directory records.

The stream is served from tim-fm.tim.ua, which no other entry in Ukraine uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.
