24/7 Country Walks Radio

This is one of the quieter entries in the United Kingdom's listing, at 300 of 466. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

With two recorded opens, 24/7 Country Walks Radio sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in the United Kingdom's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

24/7 Country Walks Radio broadcasts in English, which is the language most of the United Kingdom's stations in the directory use. The country's listing records six languages in total, so the English stations are the body of the dial rather than the whole of it.

Environnement is the station's own leading tag and no other entry in the United Kingdom uses it that way. Worth reading as self-description: the directory takes tags as broadcasters type them and does not reconcile them.

At 64 kbps this is one of the lowest rate streams on the United Kingdom's dial, whose median is 128 kbps. It will hold a connection almost anywhere, which is the tradeoff being made.

Its audio comes straight from ec6.yesstreaming.net:1585, an address unique to this entry in the United Kingdom's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
