The station's language is English, the commonest of the six the directory records for the United Kingdom. Language is one of the two axes this site indexes on, and the English shelf collects these stations across every country that carries them.

6 stations in the United Kingdom lead with comedy and ROKit Radio : British Comedy 1 is one of them, though the tag does not make the country's headline list. Across the whole directory 19 stations use it first, so the rail below runs well past United Kingdom.

The gap here is large: 48 kbps where the United Kingdom's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

The stream is served from streaming04.liveboxstream.uk, an address four other entries in the United Kingdom use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
