صوت المقاومة

Read as words rather than as a brand, the name says the voice of. That is the broadcaster's own description of the service, written in Arabic script, and it is more specific than the tags the entry carries.

Position 5 of 8 puts this station in the middle of Yemen's directory presence. The middle is worth browsing precisely because the ordering has stopped sorting by fame and has not yet stopped sorting at all.

صوت المقاومة is the only station in Yemen whose first tag is news؛talk, out of 8 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in Yemen does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only news؛talk station.

At 128 kbps this is a typical stream for Yemen by the one measure the directory carries.

Its audio comes straight from node-23.zeno.fm, an address unique to this entry in Yemen's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.

صوت المقاومة publishes at facebook.com, on a generic domain. Most stations do; it carries no information about location and it is linked here so you can check the source rather than take this page's word for anything.
