World Radio Player is made by MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd, ABN 72 684 179 646, of Sydney, Australia. This policy covers the World Radio Player extension for Chrome from version 2.0 onward, and this website.

The short version

There is no account, no sign up and no password.
There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporter and no tracking of any kind, in the extension or on this website.
We never see your listening history. Your favorites and your recently played list are on your own machine and are never sent anywhere.
We never see your card details. If you buy Pro, the card goes to Stripe and your email address goes to ExtensionPay.
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it kept on your machine.

The rest of this page is the same statement with the exceptions spelled out, because the exceptions are the part worth reading.

What we collect about you

Nothing. We run no server that holds anything about you. There is no user record, no profile, no listening history, no device fingerprint and no identifier of any kind that we generate or store.

We do not know how many stations you played, which ones, or when. If you write to us about a problem, the only thing we know about your use of the product is what you tell us in that email.

What is stored on your device

All of the following lives in your browser's own extension storage on your machine. None of it is sent to us.

`recentStations`	The last eight stations that actually started playing.
`wrp_view_state`	The shelf, country, language and station you were last on, so the player reopens where you left it.
`wrp_eq_pref, wrp_eq_open`	Your equalizer preset, whether it is on, and whether the bank is expanded.
`wrp_theme`	Which deck finish you chose.
`wrp_sleep`	The sleep timer setting.
`wrp_alarm, wrp_alarm_last_result`	The alarm time, the station it wakes to, and whether the last one fired.
`wrp_license`	A cached copy of your Pro licence: a paid flag, when it was last checked, and the purchase date reported by the payment platform.
`wrp_veteran`	A single true or false flag marking installs that predate version 2.0, so long standing users keep unlimited saved stations. This is the one key that also uses Chrome sync storage.
`wrp_cors_*, favicon cache`	Technical notes about which stations allow audio analysis and which station logos loaded, so the same request is not repeated on every open.
`volume`	The volume you left the fader at.

One exception to "on your device", and it is worth naming. A single key, wrp_veteran, also uses Chrome's sync storage. It is one true or false flag that marks installs from before version 2.0 so those users keep unlimited saved stations. Sync storage travels through your own Google account to your other machines, so that one boolean does leave this device. It contains nothing personal and nothing about what you listen to, and it never reaches us. We would rather point at it than let a reader find it and wonder what else was glossed over.

Where the extension connects, and why

Four places, and no others. Each one is listed with what actually travels there.

A third party, community run open directory of radio stations.

What reaches them: Browsing, filtering by country or language, and searching. Your search terms and your IP address reach them, because that is how a search works.

Why: It is the directory. Every station name, stream address, country, language and tag in the player comes from it.

Our own server, on Cloudflare.

What reaches them: A static snapshot of the station list and cached station artwork. Nothing is sent to it: there is no request body, no identifier and no account. The request itself carries an IP address, which lands in Cloudflare’s standard server logs.

Why: Caching station logos on one origin is the reason your browser is not firing requests at several hundred unrelated image hosts while you scroll a station list, which is exactly what version 1.x did. This is a privacy improvement, not a compromise.

The station’s own stream server

The radio station, or whoever hosts its stream.

What reaches them: Your browser connects to it directly to play the audio, the same as if you had opened the stream address yourself. Your IP address reaches them, as it must.

Why: It is the audio. We do not proxy or intermediate streams, so we never see what you listen to.

ExtensionPay, the payment platform, and only when you choose to buy Pro or restore a purchase.

What reaches them: Your email address, so a licence can be tied to something and returned to you later.

Why: It is how a one time purchase is taken and later restored without us running accounts and passwords.

Requests to data.momentumlab.ai are not used to identify, count or profile anyone. They land in Cloudflare's standard access logs, which hold an IP address and a request line, and we do not analyse those logs or join them to anything.

The third party sponsor system that version 1.3 used, which fetched advertisement documents from Google Firestore on every open, has been removed entirely in 2.0, along with the network request and the host permission it needed.

Payments, and what a purchase involves

World Radio Pro is a single payment of US$9.99. It is handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to take the payment.

Your card goes to Stripe. The number, the expiry and the security code are entered on Stripe's own payment form. They never pass through the extension, they never reach this website, and we never see them, store them or have any way of retrieving them.
Your email address goes to ExtensionPay. A one time purchase has to be tied to something so it can be given back to you after a reinstall, and an email address is that something. It is also why restoring Pro works by emailed sign in link rather than a password.
What we get. We can see that a purchase happened and the email address attached to it, through ExtensionPay's own dashboard. We do not receive card details, billing addresses, or anything about what you listen to.

Both processors have their own privacy policies and are worth reading if this matters to you: ExtensionPay and Stripe.

To have a purchase record erased, write to admin@momentumlab.ai. We will delete what we hold and ask ExtensionPay to do the same. Erasing the record also ends the licence, so Pro would need buying again if you wanted it back, and we will say so before doing anything.

The promotions bar in the free version

The free player carries a slim bar along the bottom that rotates promotions for other MomentumLab apps. It is disclosed here because a reader who sees it deserves to find it in the policy rather than wonder.

The promotions are bundled inside the extension package as plain data.
Showing one makes no network request.
There is no advertising network involved, no third party code, no targeting, no profile and no data about you of any kind.
They are all our own products. We do not sell this space.
World Radio Pro removes the bar completely.

The permissions it asks for

Permission	What it is for
`storage`	Keeps your favorites, settings and the cached licence on your machine.
`offscreen`	Lets the extension hold an audio player that keeps running after the popup closes. Without it, closing the popup would stop the music.
`alarms`	Runs the sleep timer and the wake to radio alarm at the time you set.
`https://.api.radio-browser.info/`	Permission to reach the station directory, which is what makes browsing and search work.
`A content script on https://extensionpay.com/*`	The one permission that produces a visible install warning. It exists so a completed purchase can be handed back to the extension. It runs on that payment page and nowhere else, and it does not run on any other website you visit.

Version 2.0 asks for fewer host permissions than version 1.0 did, because the Firestore sponsor system was removed.

Children

World Radio Player is not directed at children under 13. It collects nothing from anybody, so it collects nothing from a child either. It does play a public directory of live radio, and we do not control what any station broadcasts.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the extension. Right click its icon and choose to remove it, or use chrome://extensions. That erases everything it stored on your machine: favorites, settings, recently played, the cached licence and the technical caches. You can also clear its storage from Chrome's own extension settings without uninstalling.

There is nothing to close on our side, because there is no account. The only record that can exist anywhere is a purchase record at ExtensionPay and Stripe if you bought Pro, and the section above says how to have that removed.

This website

worldradioplayer.com is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare Pages. It has no forms, no comments and no sign in. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs for the site, as any web host does.

The website, and only the website (the extension carries none of this), uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage statistics such as pages viewed, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your connection. We do not send it your name, your email, or anything you type. You can block it with any standard content blocker, or with Google's own opt-out browser add-on, and the site works identically either way. Google describes how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The station data on the country and language pages is a snapshot taken when the site was built. It describes radio stations, and it contains nothing about any visitor.

Changes to this policy

If the product changes in a way that affects this document, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affected what leaves your machine would also be described in the extension's release notes rather than only here.
