Position 42 of 99 puts this station in the middle of Chile's directory presence. The middle is worth browsing precisely because the ordering has stopped sorting by fame and has not yet stopped sorting at all.
Two recorded opens in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.
Baladas is the station's own leading tag and no other entry in Chile uses it that way. Worth reading as self-description: the directory takes tags as broadcasters type them and does not reconcile them.
The stream is 96 kbps where Chile's median is 128. Below the country's middle, which usually points at an older encoder or a deliberate choice to stay light, and matters far more for music than for talk.
The stream is OGG, which is unusual anywhere: Chile's listing is dominated by MP3. Formats outside the common three are typically a deliberate choice by a broadcaster who cares about the encoding chain, and they are also the ones most likely to give a browser trouble.
The stream is served from live.lavozdelcipres.cl, which no other entry in Chile uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.

La Voz del Cipres de las Guaitecas is one of 376 playable stations the catalogue lists in Chile, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by La Voz del Cipres de las Guaitecas. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at lavozdelcipres.cl.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
