AsiaFM 亚洲粤语台

AsiaFM 亚洲粤语台 is at position 17 of the 391 stations in China with pages here, inside the top quarter of the national listing. That is high enough to be reached by browsing rather than by searching, which is how most of these pages are actually found.

The directory counts 35 opens against this stream. That is well above China's median and it is the reason the station sits where it does on the country list, since the ordering is the count and nothing else.

AsiaFM 亚洲粤语台 is the only station in China whose first tag is 地方台, out of 391 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in China does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only 地方台 station.

The audio comes from lhttp.qtfm.cn, and 89 other stations in China are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of China's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.
