CNR-2 经济之声

CNR-2 经济之声 is at position 74 of the 391 stations in China with pages here, inside the top quarter of the national listing. That is high enough to be reached by browsing rather than by searching, which is how most of these pages are actually found.

Economics covers 8 of China's entries. Tags on this site are always the broadcaster's own first tag and never a second one, because a station tagged five ways would otherwise appear on five shelves and turn each of them into a tag cloud.

The directory carries no bitrate for CNR-2 经济之声. The field is filled from what the stream's own server reports when it is scanned, so an empty one usually means a server that answers without announcing itself rather than a bad stream. China's stations that do report come in at a median of 128 kbps, for whatever that is worth as a guess.

This one is HLS, a segmented format rather than a single continuous stream. It is worth knowing because the failure is specific and fixable rather than a dead station: the address works, the browser just cannot open that shape of address unaided.

Its audio comes from satellitepull.cnr.cn. Five other stations in China stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.
