辽宁资讯广播

Set out word by word, 辽宁 is Liaoning, 广播 is broadcasting and 资讯 is information. That is the whole of the name, and it means the heading on this page is doing the work a genre tag usually has to do elsewhere in China.

This is one of the quieter entries in China's listing, at 240 of 391. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

Among 391 stations in China here, this is the only one that puts dalian city first. The dalian city rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

No bitrate is recorded against this stream. It is a common gap: the value is scraped from the stream's headers and plenty of servers do not send them. Press play and your browser will tell you more in two seconds than the field would have.

The audio comes from lhttp.qtfm.cn, and 89 other stations in China are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of China's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.
