东方卫视伴音

东方卫视伴音 says the audio feed in Chinese characters. A name that describes its own programming is worth reading rather than skipping, because it is a fact stated by the broadcaster rather than a tag added by whoever filed the entry into China's listing.

东方卫视伴音 ranks 61 among 391 stations in China. High enough that the country hub carries it in its own tables, and far enough from the head that the neighbours below are a genuinely different set of stations from the famous ones.

The directory carries no bitrate for 东方卫视伴音. The field is filled from what the stream's own server reports when it is scanned, so an empty one usually means a server that answers without announcing itself rather than a bad stream. China's stations that do report come in at a median of 128 kbps, for whatever that is worth as a guess.

This one is HLS, a segmented format rather than a single continuous stream. It is worth knowing because the failure is specific and fixable rather than a dead station: the address works, the browser just cannot open that shape of address unaided.

The audio comes from piccpndali.v.myalicdn.com, and 34 other stations in China are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of China's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.

Of everything the directory lists in China, the entry this page reads closest to is 第一财经（一财官网线路, so it is worth setting out what separates the two. Read as words rather than as a brand, this name says the audio feed and that one says finance. The two streams are served from different addresses, piccpndali.v.myalicdn.com for this one and a1live.livecdn.yicai.com for the other. The other entry carries the economics tag and this one does not. The broadcasters publish at different addresses of their own, smg.cn and yicai.com.
