东方音乐电台 THMR

At position 268 of 391, this is one of the stations in China that almost nobody arrives at by browsing. That is the case for having a page at all. A station reachable only by knowing its name is a station most directories lose.

The open count against 东方音乐电台 THMR is one, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

Among 391 stations in China here, this is the only one that puts japanese first. The japanese rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

Twice the local median and then some: 320 kbps where China's stations typically manage 128. Whether you can hear the difference depends entirely on what you are listening on, but the headroom is there.

The stream is served from radio.yunmoan.cn, which no other entry in China uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.
