In France's listing Frequence 3 Gold FLAC lands at 85 of 710, which puts it on the first or second page of the country hub rather than in its tail.
Broadcasting in English from France, alongside 87 other stations there doing the same. French is the country's commonest broadcast language in this directory, so this is the second shelf of a bilingual listing.
English radio in this directory sits largely in United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom, with 5,984 stations on the shelf in total. This page's station is one of the entries that make the shelf wider than any single country.
1536 kbps against France's median of 128. Streams at this rate are the ones worth finding a good pair of headphones for, and they are uncommon: 74% of the country's stations reach 128 kbps at all.
Frequence 3 Gold FLAC streams in OGG rather than the MP3 that most of France's dial uses. Uncommon codecs are worth noticing for a practical reason as well as a nerdy one: browser support for them is thinner than for MP3 and AAC.
8 of France's entries are served from frequence3.net-radio.fr, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.

These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by Frequence 3 Gold FLAC. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at www.frequence3.com.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
